DART 2017 is hosted by the Muslim Anti-Racism Collaborative and co-sponsored by Blac Pearl Media, CAIR MichiganACCESSCenter for New CommunitySafety Pin Box, the Detroit Equity Action Lab, and The Family & Youth Institute.

It's not too late to donate and offer scholarships to participants: [Give here].

Sponsorship will help reduce ticket prices for students and provide scholarships for low-income community members, among covering other costs. The funds raised by this event will be used to advance scholarship and initiatives to support racial justice training.

DART 2017 aims to bring together multi-faith multi-racial leaders, especially leaders from African-American, South Asian, Middle Eastern, Latino and East Asian community organizations in metro Detroit for racial justice training, networking, and strategizing. Conference attendees (est. 175-200 people) will represent a cross-section of the metro Detroit area's leading organizers, activists, trainers, educators, non-profit management, and community members, in addition to dozens of diverse attendees who will be attending from out of state. Since launching in 2014, the Muslim Anti-Racism Collaborative has reached over 9,000 people on the ground and millions online. With plans for audiovisual recording, live broadcasts, and livetweeting during the day-long training in September, we expect that our sponsor's brand will reach a wide audience both offline and online between now and the day of the conference.
